It is delivered in a practical, hands-on, small group setting and aims to cover all the key knowledge and skills needed in your first year of beekeeping, including: inspecting hives, checking for pests & diseases, managing swarming, harvesting honey, etc. No prior knowledge is assumed or required.
Morning tea and lunch is provided. We provide all necessary beekeeping gear for participants, at no extra cost. Places are limited and prior booking is required.
