Our queen bees are hand-selected from the finest, healthiest hives to ensure strong genetics and excellent hive productivity. Each queen is mated and ready to establish a thriving colony. Our queens are renowned for their gentle temperament and prolific laying abilities.
We raise our queen bees in a controlled environment to promote desirable traits such as honey production, disease resistance and calm behaviour.
Shipping & Delivery
Our queen bees can be shipped out for a flat rate cost of $18.49. Queens are shipped in secure, ventilated containers every Monday - Wednesday (depending on your geographical location). Upon arrival, please introduce the queen to your hive as soon as possible.
At this stage, we are unable to ship to Western Australia, Tasmania, the Northern Territory and regional and remotes areas of Queensland.
Pick-up
Our queen bees can also be collected from our warehouse in Carrum Downs. Simply add your chosen number of queen bees to your shopping cart and select Click & Collect during checkout. You will receive a call from one of our staff members when your queen bee is ready to be collected. Generally, your queen bee will be ready to pick up within 2 - 5 days, but this may change during periods of high demand.
Please note, pick-up of queen bees cannot be rescheduled due to the nature of this product. If you are unable to pick-up your queen bee for any reason, you will need to make arrangements for someone else to collect your queen bees.
Please note: Availability of queens is subject to change. Beeman Honey reserves the right to adjust or delay shipment or pickup due to unforeseen circumstances, including adverse weather conditions.
Important Note on shipping: (No replacement if a queen does not make it for whatever reason): Please note that we can not guarantee that shipped queens will arrive alive. There is always a risk of sending queens in the mail. NO replacement will be sent as this is beyond our control.
